Solitary - Victor Le-Vu

This is the trailer to last season's "Solitary 3.0." This show puts 9 individuals in pods where they stay 24/7 until the competition is over. In these pods, their sleep, eating and resting cycles are controlled by a computer and they have no sense of what time it is or how much time has passed. The only communication they have is with a computerized voice through a machine named "Val." This is the only voice that the people hear during their stay in Solitary. The competition is over when the competitor is the first to give up on a challenge or when they press the red button to give up. The challenges test the people mentally and are usually crazy or frustrated tasks.

This is related to psychology because you can see who people really are when taken away from their comfort zone. After a while in solitary and being there alone for an extended periods of time, people have mental breakdowns where they just cannot take the feeling of being there anymore, even when there is nothing happening in the pod. Season 4 premiered a couple of days ago on the Fox Reality Channel. TUNE IN
