Alex Rubis



This is just a simple "IQ test." Draw 9 dots on a piece of paper as shown in the video. You must connect all dots using 4 straight lines without lifting up your pencil. The video goes on to say that because the dots are set up in a square, they set up perceptual boundaries that are fixed in the mind. It also says that in order to solve this problem, you must drop such boundaries and look outside of them. This ties in to our unit on intelligence, as it shows that not all "IQ tests" are valid ways to show intelligence. It also ties back to our unit on perception. This relates to the demonstations in class we did that required us to look outside of our perceptual boundaries to solve the problem, such as the O,T,T,F,F,S,S,E,N,T pattern.
